Halloween is one week away, where has this year gone? I am a fan of Halloween, not so much the scary movies and haunted houses but just the holiday. You always hear the scary music everywhere you go but I didn’t really think there could be scary country music.

To you these songs might not be scary, but he meaning behind them could very well be. Some of these songs you will recognize right of the bat because they are still playing on country radio stations across the country.

5 Scary Country Songs

1. Charlie Daniels – Devil Went Down To Georgia

2. Buck Owens – Monster’s Holiday

3. Ray Stevens – Sittin’ Up With The Dead

4. Johnny Cash – Ghost Riders In The Sky

5. The Charlie Daniels Band – The Legend Of Wooley Swamp
