If you want to know where the best neighborhoods to trick-or-treat are in Amarillo, click here.

Now that you know where to go, you'll save time so you'll be able to stock-up on even MORE  sweet treats.   Enjoy every bite, savor every chocolatey chunk of deliciousness now, because there will come a day-probably tomorrow morning, when you will regret your all-you-can-eat candy buffet. When that time comes, you will be begging for savory food.  You will release your grip on that hefty garbage bag filled candy and beg for a bowl of something that doesn't have chocolate or corn syrup in it.

I recommend filling that bowl with your favorite soup.  Mine is tomato soup with a dollop of sour cream.  Everybody's got their favorite.  And with that bowl of soup, a slice of crusty bread, or, if you have any cornbread already made, cut it up in cubes and toast it in the oven at 350 degrees for about 6 to 10 minutes or until the cubes turn golden brown. Take them from the oven and nestle them on top of your favorite soup and enjoy.

What do you eat to treat your  Halloween candy hangover?
