A Teacher From River Road ISD Is Under Investigation For Having A Relationship With A Student

A teacher at River Road ISD is on paid administrative leave for having a relationship with a student.

This is something that seems to be happening all to frequently, not only in Amarillo but around the nation and world for that matter.

A River Road ISD employee has been put on administrative leave while an investigation is under way on whether a relationship with a student was happening.

Employees shall not form romantic or other inappropriate social relationships with students, according to district policy. Any sexual relationship between a student and a district employee is always prohibited, even if consensual, according to policy.
