Aaron Watson's latest single "July in Cheyenne," is a poignant tribute to champion bull rider Lane Frost -- the song was written for Frost's mama. And well, Natalie and I both wanted to share our thoughts.

From Buddy: When The Honky Tonk Kid stopped by in August, before the song had been released, he told us the story behind it and we debuted it. He told us it was inspired by something Lane's mother had said, check it out:

From Natalie:

Musicians seem to be getting more and more innovative when it comes to saving money, especially when it comes to music videos. If fans are going to make lyric videos, as fans do, even after an artist spends $10K on an "official" video - then why not make their own?

Genius idea. The song isn't too shabby either. What do you think?
