For all of you sports fans out there, it is that time again. It’s time to watch some of the best golfers in the world while you pretend your even a decent golfer. After this you will be dusting off your golf clubs to play some rounds yourself.
The Masters are kicking off from Augusta, Georgia. This 3 day golf tournament will put on display some of the best golfers in the world on one of the hardest courses there is.
Ryan Palmer, the Amarillo native will also be playing in his 4th tournament. Last year was his best by far when he finished 10th. His best finish for this year was last Sunday, April 1st. He finished tied for 21st, and brought a pretty sweet paycheck home for over $50,000.
Palmer is in 8th place in the PGA tour for driving distance, he averages 300.1 yards. He also founded the Ryan Palmer Foundation, a $100,000 facility for the Children’s Hospital at Northwest Texas Healthcare System.
The Masters begins April, 5th, 2012 at 3:00pm ET on ESPN.
