Do you and your kids love fishing?  Well, get ready because it's time for Amarillo Parks and Recreation's annual Fish Derby!

If you are always looking for fun stuff to do with your kids, nothing beats fishing. Every year the Amarillo Parks and Recreation does their best to hold free events for families, like the fishing derby.

Kids can come out and test their fishing skills for a chance to win prizes. There will be a prize for the biggest, smallest, ugliest, and most unique fish. There will also be a casting competition and more! There will be a limited number of fishing poles that are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. So if you don't have one, get there early.

There will be other things going on for those who aren't fishermen. AP&R will also have a bouncer set up for kids to jump in for $1.
