Amarillo Police Just Finished a Sex Offender Check And Arrested Four

Amarillo police are making sure that all sex offenders are following the rules.  Over the past week, they stopped in and checked up on all sex offenders living in Amarillo.

When you are convicted as a sexual offender there are guidelines you have to comply with.  And sometimes these offenders do not follow them the way they should.

Amarillo police officers wanted to make sure that citizens and their children were safe so they went out on a city wide investigation.  They checked up on all 513 registered sex offenders.

They made sure they were living at the address provided and that they were complying will all of the rules.  While most of them checked out fine, police did make four arrests.

This actually make me feel safe.  At least I know that the police care enough to check out the offenders addresses.  Way to go!
