Congratulations to Amarillo-born John Rich for winning NBC's Celebrity Apprentice.  That's how he won it and here's how he got there.

Born here in 1974, John had dreams of be a professional team roper, but put down the rope and picked up the bass guitar to join the band Lonestar.  After a few hits and misses, John picked up his 6 string and started writing hits like Redneck Woman for Gretchen Wilson.  In between songs, John formed the Muzik Mafia along with an entourage of talented artists including Big Kenny, the other half of Big and Rich.

John raised a fantastic amount of money for St. Jude Hospital and earned the

total respect from the Donald.
