APD Needs Help Locating Suspect In Monday’s Credit Union Bank Robbery [PHOTOS]

On Monday the Texas Plains Federal Credit Union was robbed. Police have released photos from the surveillance tape of the suspect and are needing help finding the bank robber.

Here is the official press release from the Amarillo Police Department:

APD Robbery Squad detectives continue to investigate this case and are seeking assistance in identifying the robber. The suspect was described as a white/black mixed race male in his 20’s, between 5’8” and 6’ tall, slim build, with extremely curly hair that he pulled down over his face during the robbery. He was wearing dark pants, a red shirt, and a light colored goose down filled “puffy” type jacket. Detectives have released two more images taken from the security camera video and they are attached to this release. The suspect ran north from the bank, and got into the white Ford pickup shown in yesterday’s release. He then drove west from the bank on 8th Avenue, and was last seen near 8th and S. Adams. If you saw this vehicle leaving the area or have some information, call the Amarillo Police Department. If you have information about the identity of this suspect, you can call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400. You can also submit an anonymous tip on line at www.amapolice.org.
