The 'Star Wars: Episode 7' casting hasn't even been completed, with roles both major and supporting still left to be announced, so it seems a bit premature to already have the new 'Star Wars' title, but has it leaked online in advance of an official announcement?
Listen, we all know 'Star Wars: Episode 7' will bring back Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford. It has yet to be confirmed by Lucasfilm or Disney, but it's perhaps the worst-kept secret in Hollywood. But, if you need some additional confirmation ahead of the official 'Star Wars: Episode 7' cast announcement (rumored to be taking place on May 4), we do have word that all three of the original cast members were spotted in London this weekend as filming is set to begin.
As you may have heard, 'Star Wars: Episode 7' will be filming in Abu Dhabi for a few months this summer, as the UAE capital stands in for Tatooine, the home planet of Luke Skywalker. With production set to begin next month, work on the Tatooine set has already begun and today we have our first ever 'Star Wars: Episode 7' set photos, and look which classic 'Star Wars' vehicle is back!
While most of us don't have an idea what Marvel Studios is planning beyond 2016 (and, let's be honest, there's a whole cottage industry built around speculating what those future titles are), but Marvel knows exactly what they're doing. In fact, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has a map in his office that plots out the next 15 years of Marvel movies, all the way to 2028.
Earlier this week, Ivan Reitman announced he would not be returning to direct 'Ghostbusters 3' for Sony Pictures and, subsequently, the studio was moving quickly to find a replacement. Well, that certainly didn't take long.
Most Marvel movies are fairly benign as far as far as their content goes. There's very little in the way of swearing, no nudity, mostly comic violence and zero drug use. So, it was fairly shocking to learn that 'The Avengers' was rated R by the MPAA when Marvel initially submitted it for review. What scene caused the problem and what did director Joss Whedon have to cut to get a PG-13? Let's find out.
'Star Wars: Episode 7' has been quietly casting now for what feels like years and still, the only real confirmed role we have is Adam Driver, who will play the film's villain. We know we're going to be introduced to a new era of Jedis, but who is actually going to play the new hero? Let's get ourselves updated and acquainted with the actors at the top of J.J. Abrams' list.
'Transformers 4' is not a reboot, but it has done away with the human cast you may have been familiar with after the first three movies. Taking over for Shia LaBeouf is Mark Wahlberg, who's role in this movie is to be the father of a really beautiful girl (Nicola Peltz, taking over for Megan Fox). Presumably he has something else to do because in this new 'Transformers 4' poster, he's got a really, really big alien gun. And he's ready to use it.
While there were a lot of tight races at the 2014 Oscars, Best Actor wasn't one of them. Matthew McConaughey, the odds-on favorite and Golden Globe winner, won the Best Actor Oscar for his performance in 'Dallas Buyers Club' and that's alright, alight, alright with us.
It was the headline that sent the fanboy world abuzz: Vin Diesel has mysterious meetings with Marvel to discuss an upcoming movie. The word was leaked by Diesel himself on his popular Facebook page, but with precious few details. At the time, all we could do was wildly speculate. Was it Vision? Luke Cage? Thanos?! It turns out it was nothing. Vin Diesel never had a meeting with Marvel; he was just f---ing around on social media, trying to get a rise out of comic book fans.
