When I was a kid, I would dream of Dr Pepper or candy flowing out of my bathroom faucet... but I can't image that anyone would dream of what happened to Crystal City, Texas.

On Wednesday night, residents were blowing up social media with picture of black water flowing from their faucets.

Crystal City residents were shocked by how the whole situation was handled. Some believed they should have had prior warning that something may be happening with the town's water supply.

No one had an expiation for why their water looked like tar until the next morning via the towns Facebook:

The water problem has affected everyone, from home owners to local schools. Crystal City ISD has been letting kids out early this week due to low water pressure.

Crystal City ISD Superintendent Imelda Allen shared with a local news source that while the water situation is an issue, there isn't anyone in charge.

That mindset has raised quite a concern about how local government is executing their duties. This concern resulted in three city council members being recalled and their mayor, Ricardo Lopez, being arrested... Lopez has since been released from jail but has no plans of having anything to do with City Council moving forward.
