Burger King’s New ‘Whopperito’ Coming to Amarillo

What do you get when you mix Tex-Mex and burgers? I guess it's a Burger King Burrito! In an effort to compete with places like Chipotle, Burger King is jumping on the burrito bandwagon. They will be offering a new item called the 'Whopperito' and it is exactly what you think it is. It is basically their famous hamburger with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, and topped with whopper sauce and nacho cheese, all wrapped up inside a tortilla.

Burger King is hoping their new menu item will help declining sales. The 'Whopperito' will be available in all Amarillo Burger King location on Monday, August 15th.  But don't get too addicted folks! The 'Whopperito' will only be available for three or four months (Depending on sales).

You can try the 'Whopperito' for just $2.99 by itself or $4.99 as a combination meal.
