Fred Moseley went missing in 1998 and his murder went unsolved for 15 years.

Fred was only a junior in high school when he went missing. He had been dropped off at him home on the evening of July 25th by a friend. Moseley's parents were out of town, so he was alone at the residence. When his parents arrived home, he was gone.

The next week, a Dodge Neon belonging to Moseley was discovered on Snake Road outside of Canyon. There was no evidence of foul play.

The case was unsolved until 2011, when the friend who had dropped Moseley off on the night of July 25th admitted that he lied and had, in fact, been involved in his murder. He and another man, Mario Campos, were charged with capital murder.

Campos was sentenced to life in prison in 2013.

Despite the fact that Moseley's alleged murderers are in prison, his body has never been found.

Investigation Discovery featured the story of the crime on its most recent episode of 'Killer Instinct With Chris Hansen.' The show was aired on Monday, September 5th, at 8 p.m.
