At the end of the first 'Captain America,' Steve Rogers was awoken in a modern world, meaning his date with Peggy Carter had long since passed its expiration date. Well, our Cap is still a red blooded America male, and Peggy is an elderly woman, so it's good to know that the sequel 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' gives him a new love interest. And word is that role is going to Emily VanCamp.

This news comes from Deadline Hollywood, who note that VanCamp is "in talks." VanCamp is best known for her TV work, as she's been a regular on 'Revenge,' 'Brothers & Sisters' and 'Everwood.' This then would be her biggest break yet, though being the romantic interest in a comic book movie doesn't always lead to bigger and better things (or, that is to say, we're shocked that Hayley Atwell wasn't able to turn her role in the first 'Captain America' movie into stardom).

Currently 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' is set for an April 4, 2014 release, with Chris Evans, Scarlet Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, and Toby Jones set to return, and with Frank Grillo and Anthony Mackie joining the cast. 'Community' helmers Anthony and Joe Russo are set to direct, and it's already one of our most anticipated of next year.
