Cassadee Pope's debut single 'Wasting All These Tears' has been certified Platinum by the RIAA -- a feat hasn't been accomplished by solo female country artist since superstar Taylor Swift nabbed the same recognition.

Pope's single surpassed one million downloads, solidifying the singer in an impressive group of only three other women to achieve this musical milestone, and just one of two in the past five years.

Swift's 'Tim McGraw' took three years to score Platinum status in 2006. Pope follows in the star's footsteps, but for the Season 3 winner of 'The Voice,' it took less than one year to achieve.

Pope's time on 'The Voice' hinted at this type of glory, as she often held the No. 1 spot on iTunes while competing on the reality singing competition, and she's only picked up steam since her emergence as a solo artist. In fact, when she returned to 'The Voice' stage to debut 'Wasting All These Tears,' her performance quickly propelled the hit to No. 1 on the iTunes country chart and into the Top 10 of the iTunes singles chart.

Pope released her debut album 'Frame by Frame' in October, with five tracks on the record penned by her own hand. The 'I Wish I Could Break Your Heart' singer joins Tim McGraw's Sundown Heaven Town Tour this summer.
