Country Wedding Bells

Well if 2010 was the year of the celebrity break-ups , it looks like 2011 is going to be the year of the celebrity weddings ! First up a surprise wedding on the beach for Kellie Pickler.After a proposal on the beach last June, the  country singer, 24, and Kyle Jacobs, 37, eloped, exchanging vows on Jan. 1, in a small, intimate ceremony on a private island in the Caribbean.And it looks like married life is agreeing with her. On Tuesday, Kellie Tweeted, "Private Island. Caribbean. Cigar in one hand, Rum in the other. Someone just called me "Mrs. Jacobs."....sounds nice :)"

And in other happy ending news Shania Twain married Frédéric Thiébaud in Puerto Rico on New Years day.The couple, who announced their engagement  last month, became romantically involved in 2009, finding comfort with each other after their spouses allegedly had an affair, breaking up both marriages.

And hey, speaking of breaking up marriages LeeAnn Rimes is also engaged..but really who cares about that Lifetime movie train wreck :)

Finally, be on the lookout for another big country wedding sometime this spring, Miranda and Blake where the entertainment is set to be Neal McCoy. Who knows, maybe the wedding will jump start his career ;)
