The suspense for Dallas Cowboys fans everywhere has ended, Dez Bryant will return to the team with new long-term deal.

Bryant put up some staggering numbers last year, 88 receptions for 1,320 yards and 16 touchdowns. With those touchdowns he set a franchise record beating out the previous holder Terrell Owens. But because of those numbers, Dez felt like he deserved more money for the effort he put forth last season, and every season before that.

Cowboys fans would agree he deserves more, In fact, I don't think I've heard anybody say he doesn't. Well rest assured Cowboys fans, Dez is returning to the team with a new 5-year, $70 million dollar contract, with $45 million guaranteed according to NFL.com.

Dez was looking to be one of the highest paid receivers in the league, trying to get as close to Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson at $16 million per year. Although he didn't get there, the Cowboys front office offered him something he couldn't refuse at $14 million a year.
