The footage below is very disturbing. It is recent footage of a plane carrying Chinese tourists crashing into a river, but not before it strikes an elevated expressway.

At this time, 25 of the 58 people have been confirmed dead in the crash and rescue efforts are still continuing. Miraculously, 15 people have been pulled from the wreckage alive and that leaves 18 missing at this time.

Of those rescued is a toddler being seen pulled from the wreckage.

"At the moment, things don't look too optimistic," Wu Jun-hong, a Taipei fire department official coordinating the rescue effort, told reporters.

This crash is the second from the TransAsia provider. Both were ATR-72 and crashed seven months apart. The last crash killed 48 and injured 15.
