The Dixie Chicks are in high demand. Months after they announced their first tour in 10 years, the country trio have announced additional North American dates to their DCX MMXVI Tour.

After revealing the new tour in November, the DCX MMXVI Tour quickly became one of Live Nation’s highest-selling tours of the summer. As a result, the band have added new cities to the previously announced 40 dates, extending the tour to over 50 cities throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Natalie Maines had been teasing the announcement of a tour on social media last year. In July, she hinted that a tour was on the way when she responded to a Twitter follower who asked if she was ready to "play nice."

“I’ll never make nice, but I will tour the states again,” the frontwoman said at the time.
