I am a fan of duets, if they are done right.  30 years ago, Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers teamed up and recorded Islands In the Stream.  Now, they are once again teaming up for what is sure to be a successful duet.

The pair will be teaming up for Kenny Roger's new album.  Now this is really a special treat.  Rogers hasn't recorded a country album in seven years and now he is set to release one with a Dolly Parton duet.

The song will be called You Can't Make Old Friends, which is also the name of the album.  And it will be release on October 8th of this year.  The album will contain 11 tracks and Rogers says this is that working with Dolly was "a little like going home. Everything felt comfortable."

I'm sure it will be a home run!
