It's always fun when you can get out and enjoy some family fun.  The Don Harrington Discovery Center is fun, but especially fun when they bring in new exhibits.

For a while now, the DHDC has brought in traveling exhibits.  We have seen the awesome Lego exhibit, the pirate treasure exhibit, and now there will be two new ones.  Saturday, September 27th, the DHDC will be opening up a Sherlock Holmes and the Clocktower Mystery and Ice Age Mammals.  Both exhibits will be here through January.

With the Ice Age Exhibit, you will get to travel back in time to see all the different mammals that lived in that period.  There will be a life-sized animatronic mammals, including a 7-foot Whooly Mammoth.  Kids will love it.

The Sherlock Holmes exhibit will bring out the detective in you.  There will be interactive crime scenes with clues that will eventually lead you to the killer.  It is full of mystery and fun.

If you are looking for something different and fun to do with your family, keep this in mind.  The DHDC is open Tues-Sat: 9:30 am - 4:30 pm and Noon to 4:30p on Sunday.
