The Eli Young Band brood will get a little bigger this November. Bassist Jon Jones and his wife Sarah are expecting their second baby one day before Thanksgiving.

Jones shared the news with Taste of Country on Wednesday (June 29). This will make four under the age of four for the Eli Young Band, with Mike Eli's daughter Kline being the oldest and queen of his house (James Young also has a son named Wills). “She’s crazy,” Eli says. “In a good way.”

Jones' wife gave birth to Hudson Lennon Jones on New Years Eve 2012, meaning his son will be nearly four years old when the new baby arrives. The bassist didn't share if they're expecting a boy or a girl. Jon and Sarah were college sweethearts and married in Jamaica in January 2011.

That wedding is where the bassist's mind goes when he hears the group's new song "Saltwater Gospel." It was a beach wedding that included his bandmates as groomsman and all of his friends and family. The honeymoon was truly special, because there the Texan realized how rare and precious time on the water is for those who didn't grow up so close to the ocean.

“On our honeymoon, we met all these people down from the north, from Canada that work year round and wanna take this one vacation," Jones says. Everyone has a connection to water, and the debut single from a finished, but yet to be released new album reflects that.

Overall, expect a little more family influence on this new project, EYB's first since 10,000 Towns in 2014. The band promises an album that sounds more like their older material, but still feels new.
