West Texas A&M University is gearing up to welcome former President Bill Clinton.  It is part of their 'Distinguished Lecture Series.'

Every so often, WT will bring in guest speakers as part of their 'Distinguished Lecture Series.'  They have had many speakers including Maya Angelou and Karl Rove.  But on April 24th, they will be bringing in the most distinguished so far, Bill Clinton.

He will be talking about the Clinton Global Initiative.  This foundation helps third world  countries by raising money for them.  He will also be talking about the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

The normal speaking fee for President Clinton will be donate to the memorial fund.

The lecture is open to the public and is on a first come first serve basis.  No tickets are required.  It will be held on April 24th at 8:00 pm at the First United Bank Center in Canyon.  Doors will open at 7:30 pm so get there early.
