The summer is flying by and school will begin before you know it.  If you are overwhelmed and could use a little help, then you are in luck.  This Saturday the Amarillo Civic Center is hosting Kidsfest 2012.

With school getting ready to start, back to school shopping can put a strain on parents' pocketbooks, especially if you have more than one child.  Just like the years past, Kidsfest is ready to help.

This Saturday you can stop by the Amarillo Civic Center and get ready for school with free school supplies.  Paper, pens, backpacks, crayons the list goes on and on.  This non profit is here to help ease the strain of back to school expenses.

Not only are you going to be able to get free school supplies, but you will have a chance to get your kids immunization records up to date.  This year there will be a small charge.  $5 for one shot or $10 for two shots, but no children will be turned away.  All kids must have their immunization records with them.

This is a great event to help ease the expenses of the new school year.  Kidfest begins at 8 am and will last until noon so set your alarm clocks and get up early.  It's an event you don't want to miss.
