Gun Club Offers A Christmas Card Photo ‘Shoot’

If reindeer and fake snow just won't cut it for your families Christmas card, maybe machine guns will ! A gun club in Arizona is offering a family photo shoot complete with Santa and $170,000 worth of automatic weapons ! Protect the neighborhood and spread holiday cheer for just $10 non-member and $5 for members !

The "unique" opportunity, Rodda said, permits families to handle weapons in a "safe, controlled environment." About 500 people turned out for the club’s first shoot on Nov. 26, and Rodda expects more crowds for the second "Santa and Machine Guns" event on Dec. 10.

Among the firearms to choose from are M60s, M249s, M240s and a modified Ar15, as well as more traditional holiday props such as reindeer antlers.

The event isn't attracting just gun enthusiasts: "It has a broader appeal from families to older people," Rodda said.

I'm not sure if this will get you on the naughty or nice list. Either way, it definitely puts a new spin on the term photo shoot ! And, it might make loved ones think twice before getting you that lame gift this year when they see your smiling face holding major ammo :)
