Trying to cook healthy and knowing what to cook are two totally different things.  Taking a class on how to cook healthy could not only help you, but encourage you.

I often go through periods in my life where I want to try these new healthy recipes.  A lot of the times I get discouraged because I mess a step up or there are just way too many ingredients.  I often consider taking a cooking class but never have.

Well, this Saturday Dr. Laura Ricci will be offering a healthy cooking class for anyone interested. All recipes are gluten, dairy, grain, and refined sugar-free. They are designed to be simple and easy to prepare.  And not only is this food healthy, but the cooking class is all about healthy comfort foods!

She will be teaching how to make a basil pesto with zoodles (zucchini noodles), a bacon macaroni and cheese, hamburgers, sweet potato fries, a delicious asparagus chicken dish, and chocolate chip cookie dough balls for dessert.  My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

And the best part, the class is going to be recorded with the option of purchasing the video for future reference.  The class will be taught at Salad Master in Amarillo, 5562 Bluebird Street.
