The first official trailer for Spike Jonze's latest film, 'Her,' looks (dare we editorialize?) fantastic. In the film, Joaquin Phoenix plays a lonely, divorced guy who falls in love with the voice of a computer -- and who wouldn't fall in love with that voice when it belong to Scarlett Johansson?!

Jonze, who directed 'Adaptation,' 'Being John Malkovich' and 'Where the Wild Things Are,' returns with 'Her,' yet another stirring drama with quirky trappings. We've gotta say, we were sold from the outset with Phoenix's intense mustache and the use of music from Aphex Twin and Karen O. of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs (who is married to Jonze). But don't count on hearing that music in the film -- Arcade Fire is providing the film's score, just as they contributed to 'Where the Wild Things Are.'

The official synopsis for 'Her':

In the not so distant future, Theodore (Joaquin Phoenix), a lonely writer purchases a newly developed operating system designed to meet the user's every need. To Theordore's surprise, a romantic relationship develops between him and his operating system. This unconventional love story blends science-fiction and romance in a sweet tale that explores the nature of love and the ways that technology isolates and connects us all.

'Her' also stars Amy Adams, Olivia Wilde, Chris Pratt and Rooney Mara, and hits theaters in limited release on November 20.
