Kacey Musgraves made a little girl’s dream come true last week. The singer helped throw a Disney princess birthday party for 3-year-old Logan Todd, who is fighting an aggressive, incurable form of cancer.

Musgraves teamed up with nonprofit Love Your Melon, which makes and sells apparel to raise money for pediatric cancer research, and humanitarian/artist Stephen Salyers to create a little girl's dream world, complete with a performance from the country singer, who is Todd’s favorite artist.

The “Pageant Material” singer posed with Logan for pictures, including some glammed up concert photos with the band, making silly faces and rocking out. So happy we got to meet little Logan. She brightened my day maybe even more than I brightened hers! Our party included crowns and barbies and balloons and of course song requests by Logan, herself!" Musgraves wrote on Facebook after the event.

Sadly, Logan is only expected to live six to twelve more months. Fans can support the girl and her family at their GoFundMe page.

Musgraves has been performing at festivals this summer and around the country with Nashville indie group Sugar and the Hi-Lows in preparation for the Kacey Musgraves Country & Western Rhinestone Revue run, which kicked off Aug. 27. Her sophomore record, Pageant Material, debuted at No. 1 and is solidifying her place in the country music landscape as a rootsy singer-songwriter with an old school flair and knack for painting profound pictures with her words. Musgraves' full tour schedule can be found on her website.
