Lights Safari Out At The Amarillo Zoo

Going out to the Amarillo Zoo with your family is fun, taking them around to see all the different kind of animals and learning a little. Christmas time is around the corner and what is better then going out to the zoo that has the Christmas spirit.

The Amarillo Zoo begins their Lights Safari this weekend December 7, 8, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, and 22 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Having various Christmas activities throughout the zoo for the family's to do.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be also at the Zoo on Saturday December 15 and 22 to meet and greet the kids, plus they will also have guest caroling groups going throughout singing everyone's favorite Christmas songs. Then on December 22, Delvin Wilson will be doing ice sculpturing which i think is pretty cool.

So spending some time with the family is always good and taking the kids to the zoo for the lights safari would be even better. There is something for everyone to do, so go out there and enjoy seeing Christmas at the zoo with all the animals.
