Mallary Hope was only expecting to sing in the circle on the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday night (Oct. 26). The singer-songwriter ended up agreeing to get married, as well.

Hope's boyfriend, Ryan Dokke, dropped to a knee on a stage where so many country music legends have performed. Hope -- best known for her 2009 hit 'Love Lives On' and for co-writing Lauren Alaina's 'Georgia Peaches' -- is a frequent performer at the Opry. Dokke is a former radio deejay who know works as a radio regional for Arista Nashville.

"Ahhhhh! Can't believe I'm engaged," 26-year-old Hope wrote on her Facebook page on Sunday. "Thank you all for the sweet comments. Anyone have any marriage advice?"

The singer posted a number of pictures from the big night on Instagram.
