Lady Antebellum‘s music isn’t exactly the type that should incite violent behavior in listeners. Unfortunately, that didn’t stop a man from attacking a young girl at their recent show in Burgettstown, Penn. As if that isn’t strange enough, police reported that the gentleman actually bit off the tip of her right ring finger in the process.

Concertgoer Zachery Leone, 22, was arraigned by Hanover Township police on charges of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. Leone became violent after he had a verbal altercation with a man who was accompanying a 17-year-old girl Leone had been involved with. The teenage girl tried to step in between the two guys, and Leone lost his temper. According to police, he knocked the girl on the ground and struck her several times before biting off the tip of her finger.

Even though Leone denies biting off the girl’s finger, police filed charges against him on June 7.

Despite the violent fight, the Lady A show went on as planned. It is unlikely that the band heard about the unfortunate incident before their performance. The popular ‘Wanted You More’ trio will take the stage in Bethel N.Y. tomorrow (June 13), and hopefully, all of the concert attendees will be able to keep their hands to themselves.
