Miranda Lambert Does Have A Heart Like Mine For Shelter Dogs

We all sing along with Miranda Lambert's song "Heart Like  Mine", but now I know just like mine, her heart goes out to shelter dogs. And that's why Miranda started her annual Cause for Paws Event, bringing together good music for a great cause. This years  event proved to be a huge success bringing in almost $300,000 !  The musical lineup included Josh Kelley and Stoney Larue ( who is playing Midnight Rodeo Amarillo this Friday) and brought in over 7,000 fans ! Miranda credits her own shelter dog , Delilah , for getting her involved.  She tells cmt.com, "Delilah feeds my soul when I'm on the road. She is with me every second," explains the singer. "She doesn't care about Miranda Lambert, she cares about her mom, and that's one thing that keeps you grounded, is having somebody that loves you unconditionally."
