Music Executive John Atterberry Shot & Killed In Hollywood [VIDEO]

John Atterberry, a 40-year-old music executive who had handled Jessica Simpson and the Spice Girls was shot and killed in an armed rampage by a gunman in Hollywood. Atterberry died last night after succumbing to his wounds.

Spokesman Simi Singer confirmed that Atterberry died after being shot in the face and neck while driving his Mercedes Benz near Vine Street and Sunset Blvd.

According to sources the gunman, identified as Tyler Brehm 26, opened fire at 10:12 am and fired nine to eleven shots before police shot and killed him. AP reports state that police are saying he fired closer to 20 shots. During the shooting, he kept yelling that he wanted to be killed.

Rumor has it that the shooting spurred from a break-up between Brehm and an ex-girlfriend earlier in the month.
