Acclaimed show-runner Bryan Fuller may have gotten a bit of short shrift at NBC this fall, the network quietly airing 'Munsters' reboot 'Mockingbird Lane' as a Halloween special before passing on the series altogether, but it seems the upcoming 'Hannibal' has become a playground for Fuller alum. The latest to join the hotly-anticipated Hannibal Lecter project is that of 'Dead Like Me' star Ellen Muth, but who will the one-time grim reaper play? Learn the latest 'Hannibal' scoop inside!

NBC has yet to issue a premiere date for the much-discussed 'Hannibal' adaptation, featuring Mads Mikkelsen ('Casino Royale') as the title character and Hugh Dancy as Will Graham, but that hasn't stopped the series from making yet another Fuller-friendly casting. The latest to join the series is actress Ellen Muth, best known as 'Dead Like Me's leading lady and "Soul Escort" George Lass.

No word on precisely whom Muth will play, but TVLine reveals that the character will be named "Georgia" in a nod to her "Dead Like Me" character. In addition to the recent castings of Lance Henriksen and ‘The X-Files’ star Gillian Anderson, Bryan Fuller’s ‘Hannibal’ features Laurence Fishburne’s Jack Crawford and wife Gina Torres playing Crawford’s wife, ‘Veep‘ star Anna Chlumsky, comedian Eddie Izzard, ‘SNL‘ alum Molly Shannon, ‘Pushing Daisies’ vet Ellen Greene, ‘Wonderfalls’ stars Chelan Simmons, Lara Jean Chorostecki as a female interpretation of ‘Red Dragon’ character Freddy Lounds and Raul Esparza as Dr. Frederick Chilton.

NBC left 'Hannibal' off the mid-season premiere list, but network president Bob Greenblatt believes the series could debut before May, or make for good summer entertainment.
