One of my favorite things to do is to bake for my family, so I am always looking for new recipes.  I found this amazing no bake recipe that you'll love!

With the summer approaching, my schedule is becoming more and more hectic.  Even though I am always on the go, I still want to make sure my family has awesome treats to enjoy.  I came across a no-bake recipe that seemed like a 'piece of cake', so I decided to try it.

All you need is Oreos, butter, your favorite chocolate, heavy cream and strawberries.  You can top off with nuts, but it is totally optional.

The Oreos will used as the crust.  You take about 32 Oreos (I find that the original, not double stuffed, work better) and crush them in a food processor.

After you have the Oreos nice and crushed, you add 1/2 cup melted butter.  Then give the food processor another good mix to blend it well.

You then get the Oreo mixture and press it into the bottom of your pan.  It calls for a long tart pan, but I always use a different pan and it works fine and taste the same.  LOL.

While you are working on the filling, freeze the crust.

Next, you get 7 oz of milk chocolate and 3.5 oz of bittersweet chocolate and put aside.  Then, you get 7 oz of heavy cream and heat over medium heat.  You do not need to boil or simmer, just heat.

Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for about a minute before you begin mixing.  The chocolate should melt into a smooth, creamy mixture.  You then pour it over the Oreo crust.

While the chocolate is still hot, place fresh strawberries throughout in whatever pattern you'd like.  And if you decide to top with nuts, I think it is better to do while the chocolate is still hot.  I find that pistachio compliments the strawberries nicely.

Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.  Then enjoy!
