It's time to bust out your hiking gear and headlamps! See Palo Duro Canyon like you've never seen it before. This years full moon hike will be held on May 21st at 8:30pm. Hikers will meet up at the new Wolfberry Day Use Area at the back of the park near the water crossing #6.

Leaders of the hike will be talking about wild animals in the canyon, moon phases, and much more!

The full moon hike will cost $5 per adult and kids 12 and under are FREE!

If you are interested in participating, the Palo Duro Canyon Rangers urge you to take the necessary measures to prepare. Dress for the weather and wear good shoes to hike in. Bring plenty of water to drink because water is not included in price of the hike.
