Palo Duro High School Football Standout Headed To Play At UT

A football star at Palo Duro has made a verbal commitment to the University of Texas at Austin.

Montrel Meandor is a senior at Palo Duro high school and has made a verbal commitment to play football at the University of Texas at Austin.

Meandor originally was going to play football at Washington St. where the old Texas Tech coach Mike Leach took over head coaching duties.

National signing day is on Wednesday and that is when Meandor is going to make his decision final. Meandor stands at 6 foot 3 weighing 190 pounds, he was named co-defensive player of the year in district 3-4A.
