PGA Tour pro golfer Ryan Palmer made his return to his old stomping grounds in Amarillo on Tuesday. Palmer was inducted into the Amarillo High School Hall of Fame.

After graduating from AHS in 1995 Palmer went to college at Texas A&M University. He turned pro in 2000 and has 3 PGA Tour wins under his belt along with 22 top 10 finishes.

Palmer who is currently ranked 94th overall in the official world golf ranking just came back from playing the Masters, one of the biggest tournaments in the PGA Tour.

He now is heading to San Antonio, TX for the Valero Texas Open starting Thursday, April 19th. His best finish in this tournament was back in 2010 when he finished tied for 9th place.
