Rascal Flatts Reveal Album Title and Cover Art

Rascal Flatts have released new details about their forthcoming studio album, which is scheduled for release on April 3. The project will be called ‘Changed’ and it was recorded in Nashville.

That’s a big change from how they cut 2010′s ‘Nothing Like This.’ The trio chose to hibernate in California while recording that album. “We actually cut the whole thing at Jay’s house, in Jay’s studio,” Gary LeVox tells the Associated Press of ‘Changed.’ “We mixed it up and did something a little different.”

LeVox added that he thinks this album is their best yet, and that the lead single ‘Banjo‘ is a good indication of what fans can expect to find throughout the rest of the record.

“It’s probably the most really good, up-tempo stuff that maybe we’ve ever had pitched to us. And we wrote some really good stuff,” he said.

As previously reported, the band is producing a number of the tracks on ‘Changed’ by themselves. Dan Huff carried much of the production work with past releases, and his presence will again be felt on the April revealing. In the past year LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney have collaborated with Natasha Bedingfield and Justin Bieber, but there has been no indication that this album will include a duet with a pop or country star.
