Sam Hunt’s unique twist on country music has already made him a standout performer in the short period of time since the release of his debut album, Montevallo, and the hits show no sign of stopping. The artist has just released the music video for his latest single, "House Party," which promises to be a summer song to remember.

The video takes fans behind the scenes of life on the road — goofing off with the crew and band, performing to enormous crowds, hanging out on the bus — and lets them see another side of Hunt’s personality. The song’s jubilant vibe and mega-catchy melody are clearly reflected in the laid-back, fun tone of the video, which includes some quirky illustrations for good measure.

"House Party" is the third single from Montevallo, which has already scored two No. 1 hits with "Leave the Night On" and "Take Your Time." The lyrics are less about an actual party and more about a relationship: “Let’s have a house party / We don’t need nobody / Turn your TV off, break that boombox out / We’ll wake up all the neighbors ’til the whole block hates us / And the cops show up, try to shut us down / If you’re gonna be a homebody / We’re gonna have a house party.” Hunt co-wrote “House Party” with Jerry Flowers and Zach Crowell.
