I have only been on a flight once in my lifetime, I was a little kid so I really don't remember the experience. But if I was to fly on a plane right now and my flight was forced to make an emergency landing... I would be flippin' out!

According to Amarillo.com, American Airlines flight 1099 from Dallas, TX to Albuquerque, NM was forced to make an emergency landing at Rick Husband International Airport on Tuesday. All of the crew and passengers were unharmed, the plane was able to make a safe landing.

Patrick Rhodes, Aviation Director for Rick Husband International Airport told Amarillo.com: "The pilot reported smoke in the cockpit of the Boeing MD-80 and that several alarms and warnings had been triggered."
