Like you, we adore the work of Ryan Hurst, everything from his bit turn in 'Saving Private Ryan' to his Emmy-worthy work on Kurt Sutter's FX biker drama 'Sons of Anarchy.'  However, all good things must come to an end, and at least for the time being, it seems that we won't be seeng Hurst's character Harold "Opie" Winston return to 'Sons of Anarchy' anytime soon.  Still, we'll gladly follow Hurst into the breach, so where will his next role in TNT's 'King & Maxwell' take him?

While we're still pouring one out for Opie, after his - SPOILER ALERT - tragic murder during 'Sons of Anarchy's "Laying Pipe," TNT has offered up a bit of solace.  Accoprding to Deadline, series star Ryan Hurst will next take his talents to TNT's pilot 'King & Maxwell,' in another supporting role.

Based on David Baldacci’s popular 'Sean King and Michelle Maxwell' book series, 'King & Maxwell' follows two secret service agents who take their talents toward becoming private-eye detectives.  According to the report, Hurst will play suspected and incarcerated serial killer Edgar, a functioning autistic savant with the ability to see patterns and numerical sequences.  Edgar forms a special relationship with King (Jon Tenney) that leads to a breakthrough in the titular duo's case.

Well, what say you?  Are you happy to see Ryan Hurst land on his feet after the tragic demise of Opie, the details of which you can read at the link above?  Do you have any interest in tuning in for TNT's 'King & Maxwell?'  Give us your take in the comments!
