In the meantime, Hill’s kept a relatively low profile as she works on the follow-up to 2005′s ‘Fireflies’ — but it sounds like she might finally be ready to break her silence.

Clark’s latest album ‘Roots and Wings’ finds her tapping into her own experiences for a largely self-written batch of original tunes — and earning some of the best reviews of her career along the way. According to Clark, who enjoyed a string of platinum success in the 90s, recent turmoil in her personal life required a new, more honest approach to her music.

Campbell stopped by the Sirius XM studios recently to perform tracks from the recently released ‘Ghost on the Canvas,’ and a lucky handful of those fans were in attendance — as well as Tanya Tucker, whose tumultuous relationship with Campbell ended in a long estrangement.

They took the news in stride, however, and regrouped as a trio, getting down to work on their upcoming sophomore release, ‘A Thousand Miles Left Behind.’ In the process, they discovered the whole ordeal might have been a blessing in disguise.

When Aldean’s crew convenes for the sessions for his fifth album, they’ll have no shortage of songs to choose from. In fact, it sounds like it’ll be a struggle to get the list of candidates down to a manageable length.

Now, she also has a pair of spots in the Guinness Book of World Records to call her own.

With a little less than a month to go until Scotty McCreery‘s ‘Clear as Day’ reaches stores, the countdown to the ‘American Idol’ winner’s debut is officially under way.

That’s a long time to make do with Scotty’s first two singles, ‘I Love You This Big’ and ‘The Trouble With Girls.’ Thankfully, you can also pass the time by perusing the album’s recently revealed track listing.

That’s not a bad way to spend 10 years doing what you love — and Turner won’t start resting on his laurels now. In fact, he’s already deep into his next album.
