A mother in Florida finally had enough of her daughter being bullied. After picking up her daughter from school and seeing the two fighting. She stepped in and ended up beating up the 12-year old bully. Then, found herself in handcuffs.
You know I do not get riled up about many things but this video really ticked me off to the point I had tears running down my checks. A 5th grade Michigan teacher by the name of Nicole McVey decided it was appropriate to record a video of one of her students who as Asperger's Syndrome after he got stuck in a chair. Not only that, the principal of the school decided to join in teasing the boy. Not once did they offer to help Then she proceeded to show the video to other students and teachers.
Bullies have been around since the beginning of time. However, as the years progress so do the bullies, but it seems more and more people are taking a stand against bully. One aunt in Oregon wasn't OK with the fact that her nephew was being bullied so she turned to facebook for help.
The video is hard to watch as a 3 year old toddler is tortured by other kids while playing outside. After the video surfaced many people instantly brought race into the issue seeing that the little girl is white and the other kids are black. It doesn't help that the video was titled "When White People Pi*# Of Black People".
Bullying has been around forever, but it’s really come to the forefront over the last few years with experts and educators weighing in with different ways to solve this problem that affects so many kids.
