When Amarillo loses a restaurant there are usually reasons. There can be a lack of people knowing about them. It could be that the owners retire and move on. Maybe the food wasn't that good. There are reasons though.
I was driving around Amarillo, like I do a lot when I noticed this. Normally when I drive down Olsen/Paramount everything is status quo. At least it has been for a while. I noticed some activity recently that was unexpected.
It's not very often that the people you watch on an Amarillo news station become the news. I mean I can remember a time or two. That is not always a good thing. Then this bombshell was dropped by Jackie Kingston herself.
One thing we can say about Amarillo and the surrounding area is that we love our drama. Come on admit it, deep down you love watching it unfold too. As long as you or your family is not a part of it that is.
With the cost of pretty much anything and everything going up, we find ways to save money. Heck, even when our finances weren't being hit we still enjoy the hunt at our local Amarillo thrift stores.
