It’s been more than five years since Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have toured together domestically, but the first couple of country music is reprising their wildly popular Soul2Soul co-headlining tour as part of a residency venture with the Venetian Las Vegas. The extravagant stage production will kick off on Dec. 7 and will run through April 2013.
The rumors have been flying around but wonder no longer. It was confirmed today that Faith Hill and her hubby Tim McGraw will be headlining in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas’ Venetian Hotel is said to be making an announcement this week about the biggest musical event in its history — and we think it’s safe to assume that they’ll be publicizing a Tim McGraw and Faith Hill residency in Sin City.
Everyone at LP Field was thinking it on Saturday night (June 23), wondering if Faith Hill would be joining husband Tim McGraw onstage during his performance as part of the Brothers of the Sun Tour, also featuring Kenny Chesney. When McGraw announced more than halfway into his set that he had a “special surprise” just for the Nashville crowd and began to sing the beginning of his duet with Hill, ‘I Need You,’ nobody had to wonder any longer.
It’s been almost seven years since the Faith Hill released a studio album of original material, and the superstar admits she is as anxious as the fans to get the new music heard. Recently she talked to reporters about the upcoming project’s direction.
This week, the CMA announced more artists who have signed on to perform as part of the 2012 CMA Music Festival held in Nashville in June. Faith Hill, Lady Antebellum, Zac Brown Band, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Brad Paisley, and Rascal Flatts will all be part of the all-star lineup set to perform during the nightly concerts at LP Field during the four-day festival. Previously announced performers for the LP Field lineup include Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood and the Band Perry.
Faith Hill and Tim McGraw‘s love for one another has been pure and honest since day one. The country superstars wed over 15 years ago, but their love remains strong through a sometimes rocky business that can consume so much of your time.
Faith Hill knows the true meaning of Christmas — it’s making sure the reindeer are fed. After spilling the intimate details of her holiday traditions with her country cowboy husband Tim McGraw during the ‘CMA Country Christmas’ special, the blonde songstress laid down a good kind of sleepy song: the classic ‘Little Drummer Boy.’
Winning Wednesday is one of my favorite mornings of the week. Today Kandrea was the trivia winner and won the Breakfast Cheer Prize Pack and tickets to see the Randy Rogers Band. We also learned about the vampire hackers and what most people want for Christmas.
New footage from the 2011 CMA Awards rehearsals has emerged, featuring country’s top stars getting ready for Wednesday’s show. Spotlights ablaze, hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley warm up for their duet ‘Remind Me’ and Faith Hill prepares for the premiere of her long-awaited new single ‘Come Home’ in the video seen below.
For Faith Hill fans, it’s been a long four-year wait for new material. Her most recent recordings are a pair of songs (‘Lost’ and ‘Red Umbrella’) she included with her 2007 compilation ‘The Hits.’
In the meantime, Hill’s kept a relatively low profile as she works on the follow-up to 2005′s ‘Fireflies’ — but it sounds like she might finally be ready to break her silence.
