Have you done any flying since the pandemic hit? I had a flight scheduled in March to fly to Dallas to help my daughter move. I had to go. Luckily I could just cut my losses and make the drive.
I read a story the other day about a new kitchen challenge that is going viral. So I wanted to give it a try. I have 2 kitchen utensils that are wooden. I have had them for years.I usually throw them in the dishwasher. I figure that is the best way to keep them clean. Apparently it doesn't really keep them all that clean. That is why this challenge is even a thing.
I get it. There has not been a whole lot to be happy about in 2020. We just have to try. We need to get past all this and on to how things should be. The normal part of life again. Sometimes we just need to fake that smile until it's real.
So of course during the pandemic we did learn that washing our hands is very important to stopping the spread. We have learned all types of tips. We know we need to wash our hands for at least 20 seconds. We also know that hand sanitizer is good but not as good as actually using soap and water.
We are wearing masks more and more these days. So we want to keep our masks clean. We need them sterilized and doing their job. So I was searching online and I found a site that helped you keep your face masks clean.
One thing I can safely admit to is that I am addicted to my phone. How about you? My phone even lets me know just how addicted I am. It will give me a report every week telling me how much I am on it.
Are you used to wearing that mask yet? I know they are not the easiest to get used to. I have tried. That is sometimes the toughest part. I know that masks have become a normal part of our days. The state of Texas has mandated that we have to wear one. There are still people mad about it.
Let's face it we can all use a little more time to smile. A smile can lift your spirit and make it hard to be stressing about anything. There are so many small pleasures in life and we would definitely benefit in looking for those.
It seems like an easy concept. All you have to do is burn more calories than you eat in order to lose weight. I mean easy, right? Well if you have been trying at all you get it. It's not as easy as it seems. You think you are doing everything the right way and then you get on the scale.
This summer has been pretty warm. These past few days have been downright hot. We have been hitting 100. It is not going to break anytime soon. So we need to find a way to break this heat.
As you were growing up I know you have heard your mom tell you to eat breakfast. You can't leave for school without something in your stomach. You know to this day that she was right. Do you still find yourself skipping that most important meal though?
