The 4th Annual Twist-A-Wish Bull Riding Competition raises $35,000 for Make-A-Wish North Texas.
Homer's Backyard Ball made an announcement that it will be presenting a $50,000 check to the local Make-A-Wish foundation on Sunday at the Amarillo Sox baseball game. There will also be an announcement naming Sunday nights the official Make-A-Wish night at the Amarillo Sox stadium
We all look forward to Homer's Backyard Ball every year.
It started as a regular cookout in a Travis Homer's backyard years ago and each year it continued to grow. Now in it's 14th year Homer's Backyard Ball continues to grow and it's not just about the the music and barbecue it's about helping children with life threatening medical conditions.
The 14th Annual Homer's Backyard Ball - Saturday Night Fever is Saturday, May 14th at I-40 East & Whitaker Road in the pasture behind Splash Amarillo. Tickets are $25 and on sale at all Panhandle Ticket Outlets and Panhandletickets.com. Tickets will be $30 day of the event at the gate.
