There's many myths that have been spread around for years in regard to sleep. Hearing the debunking of some of these may be quite a comforting relief to you.
We are living in a weird time. The year 2020 has included many changes. A lot, not all of us, have gained a bit of weight. So many that it has a name. The Quarinteen15. Well guess what? We are over that and on our way to getting healthy again.
Have you had a little harder time sleeping through the pandemic? If you have well just know that you are not alone. We have been finding ourselves worrying a lot more. Less sleep, though, really does us no good. In fact it makes it easier for us to get sick. Our immune system starts to get compromised.
One thing I can safely admit to is that I am addicted to my phone. How about you? My phone even lets me know just how addicted I am. It will give me a report every week telling me how much I am on it.
You always have good intentions. I will go to sleep at a decent time tonight. I will get up on time and maybe even get a little exercise in. It used to be that you would think "hey getting to work only takes me ten minutes" Heck pretty much everything is ten minutes away here in Amarillo.
Nobody likes to get sick right? The coughing, the burning throat, the extra sleep? I mean yes I know getting sick is not the best thing in the world. What, though, is the best?
Sleeping is already tough enough on us when we don't include all the myths that we may believe.What about all the things that we believe that may actually make it harder to sleep?
