Canada called in to talk with us about the new album, MusicFest 2015 highlights, his brother-in-law Wade Bowen's performance on Conan, American Aquarium and so much more.

A big congrats to one of our favorite dudes, Cody Johnson, and his beautiful wife, Brandi. The two welcomed their first child, Clara Mae, on Jan. 5th. She tipped the scale at 7lbs 12oz and measured 20 in long. And according to all accounts, Clara Mae has already got her Daddy wrapped around her finger.

Throughout the history of "Texas Music" there have been certain artists that stepped forward as... "leaders" per-say. These leaders made headway for the rest of our favorite artists. In the beginning, we had Pat Green, Cory Morrow and Roger Creager step up, followed by Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen etc etc etc.

If the success of the debut single is any indication of how the rest of his next album will be received, all is good for Aaron Watson and his 2015 project The Underdog.
